As part of the course, students gain practical exposure in collaboration with Jeeva Rakshai Mental Health Wellness Centre (De-addiction cum Rehabilitation & Psychiatric Care).
Students will have the opportunity to observe and understand the counselling and rehabilitation process in a real-world de-addiction setting, including appropriate supervised interaction with in-patients, subject to the centre's policies, consent, confidentiality and professional guidelines.
This practical exposure helps students connect classroom learning with real-life situations and develop a better understanding of addiction, counselling, recovery, relapse prevention and family support.
